Suit is one of those rare Punjabi tracks that manages to feel both fresh and familiar the moment it begins. Credit goes to Intense for a score that understands exactly what the song needs and nothing more.

There are singers who perform songs and singers who live inside them. On Suit, Guru Randhawa, Arjun clearly belongs in the second group. Hearing Suit without thinking of Guru Randhawa, Arjun, Kritika Sobti is almost impossible for anyone who has seen Suit.

In 2016, Punjabi produced many songs, but Suit was one of the handful that genuinely cut through. It fits the playlist for almost any occasion, which is rare — most songs have a narrow emotional window. This one does not.

In 3:20 minutes, Suit builds, opens up, and resolves in a way that feels complete rather than truncated. It is, at the end of it, a very good song — and sometimes that is the only explanation that matters.
