Kabul Express

I still remember the first time I heard "Kabul Express", the soundtrack from the 2006 Bollywood film of the same name. As the opening credits rolled, John Abraham's voice whispered "Bol Meri Machhli" and I was hooked. The song's haunting melody, with its haunting guitar riffs and Arshad Warsi's smooth vocals, painted a vivid picture of a world torn apart by war and love. The rest of the album is just as breathtaking, with every track transporting you to a different corner of the world. From the upbeat, folk-inspired "Bhailoa", to the melancholic, acoustic "Nasha", and the soulful, balladic "Tareefan", each song is a masterpiece that showcases the incredible range of the artists. With every listen, the album seems to grow on me, much like a good ringtone that sticks in your head long after the initial listen.
